RNA-seq of Persea americana pulp (mesocarp) fruit development of cv. Hass
Avocado fruits were obtained from a commercial supplier, three independent fruits (biological replicates) were sampled at 150, 240, 300 and 390 days after fruit set (DAFS). Three biological replicates for each developmental stage. cDNA libraries were sequenced by PE sequencing (100 x 2) with Illumina HiSeq 2500 and normalized to TPM. This dataset was published by Vergara-Pulgar et al. 2019 and raw data can be found in the BioProject PRJNA483022.
DAFS = Days After Fruit SetRNA-seq of Persea americana stem inoculated with Fusarium kuroshium at time 1, 4, 7 and 14 days post inoculation.
One-year-old healthy avocado trees (P. americana 'Hass') were acquired from the Salas certified plant nursery at Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico. Infected and uninfected stems (at 1, 4, 7 and 14 dpi) were frozen with liquid nitrogen and then pulverized using a mortar and pestle. Three independent biological replicates from each selected sample were processed. cDNA libraries were sequenced by PE sequencing (100 x 2) with NextSeq500 and normalized to TPM. This dataset was published by Pérez-Torres et al. 2021 and raw data can be found in the BioProject PRJNA655460.
